Los Angeles Brand Video For Carrie Murray, Founder of the BRA Network

If you are a woman business owner, you should know Carrie Murray. Carrie is the founder of the BRA Network, which stands for Business Relationship Alliance. She named her network BRA because like a good brassiere, the members of her network LIFT and SUPPORT each other (I know, I love it too.)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On a quest to expand the reach of her mission in empowering women, Carrie needed new assets for Carrie Murray, the brand, versus Carrie Murray, BRA Network Founder. While there are obvious overlaps between the two, Carrie’s personal brand as an includer and connector was the main focus of this shoot.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Carrie’s A-Roll, member testimonials, and community footage around a large table were shot on the same day. However, to create a complete story about her brand, we harvested the rest of the footage was from previous BRA events (big shoutout to fellow BRA members @shetvmedia, who always cover BRA events so beautifully and make it easier for a video colleague to scour).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Additionally, because one of Carrie’s goals is to land more speaking opportunities at events and podcasts, two cuts of her video were made so that she had a speaking reel to send out to organizers and hosts.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Since two versions of the video were going to be made (and because I know Carrie is comfortable speaking in front of an audience or a camera), Carrie’s dialogue in the videos is completely unscripted. She received a list of questions ahead of time so that she could start to mull over the answers.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This method is rarely ever employed, but I sometimes find that those who speak often can get tripped up trying to follow a specific script. It’s also a great alternative to a last-minute shoot where there wasn’t enough time to create a script. To make the dialogue sound more conversational, it’s sometimes easier to just give prompts and let the words flow.

If you’re reading this blog post, then I know you’re ready for a brand video & video assets for your business.
